FAQ

Common questions.

Why only one integration at launch?
Building a single integration well takes more engineering time than people assume. We would rather ship one rock-solid Stripe Connect than five half-broken accounting connectors. Phase 2 starts the day Sembr opens to general availability, with QuickBooks Online as the most-requested next integration.
Some competitors list an integration as "live" but you say "Phase 2." Why?
We are specific about what ships when. Some platforms list integrations as available when they mean a Zapier zap exists. We distinguish between production-ready-and-supported and everything else. If we say Phase 2, we mean it ships within 6 months of launch as a supported feature.
Can we pay to prioritize an integration?
We do not take pay-to-prioritize money. Customer demand moves the roadmap. If your organization has a hard dependency on a Phase 2 integration, tell us. We may be able to ship it earlier in exchange for being a beta tenant.
What is the difference between the Zapier integration and the REST API?
Zapier wraps the REST API for no-code automation. If your team is technical, the REST API gives you more control, lower latency, and no per-task fees. For non-technical staff who need to wire Sembr to other tools without code, Zapier is the right path.
