Integration / Eventbrite

Bring your event history with you.

Moving off Eventbrite? Import past events and attendee records into Sembr in one pass. Attendees match to existing members where emails align; the rest land as contacts.

How it works

One migration pass. No ongoing sync.

Historical import

Connect your Eventbrite account during migration setup. Pick the date range (typically last 2-3 years) and the events to bring over. One authorized read, then Sembr never touches Eventbrite again.

Attendee matching

Sembr matches on email. Attendees who are already Sembr members get the event added to their history. Unmatched attendees land as contacts ready to convert if they join.

Event history preserved

Past events, ticket types, pricing, and registration timestamps carry over as historical data. Free events show $0; paid events keep their original ticket price.

Status: Phase 2.

Core CSV migration tooling ships in G5. Eventbrite-specific import follows in Phase 2 after the first 10-15 tenants stabilize on Sembr. This is a one-time migration tool, not an ongoing sync. New events live in Sembr; Eventbrite is no longer in the loop.

FAQ

Common questions.

Does this replace Eventbrite going forward?
Yes. Once events are in Sembr, Eventbrite is not involved in new event creation, ticketing, or registration. Sembr handles events end-to-end. If you still want events discoverable on Eventbrite for reach, use Zapier to publish Sembr events there.
What happens to attendees who are not yet Sembr members?
They land in Sembr as contacts with full event history. You can convert them to members later (if they join) or use the contact record for re-engagement outreach. Their Eventbrite registration data travels with them.
What if some events were free and some were paid?
Both import. Free events show $0 ticket pricing; paid events keep their original price as historical data. Going forward, new event pricing is set in Sembr.
Can we selectively import only some events?
Yes. The import wizard shows all events in your date range and you can exclude any you do not want. Sembr flags events with large attendee counts for review before committing.

Your event history should follow you.
